Flying with car seats can be AMAZING! But just keep in mind that while the US is very car seat-friendly, international airlines and different countries have varying policies in place! Be sure to research with your airline before just assuming that they are going to treat it the same as a US airline on a domestic flight. Here are some things you may encounter:
-An airline may flat out refuse you to bring a car seat on board
-An airline may require you to forward face your convertible car seat
-An airline may have strict maximum dimensions for car seats to be brought onboard
Just a reminder to always check with your airline before flying to see which rules they have in place!
I also wanted to include a link to a list of international car seats that have been qualified by for use in aircraft.
